Interns at iii work with professionals and entrepreneurs committed to igniting young minds in the nation. Because we recognize that interns can be iii’s best ambassadors in their schools and communities, we strive to immerse interns in our most dynamic projects as well as our unique staff culture. Our goal is to give interns the opportunity to shape their own substantive responsibilities. As trusted members of the iii team, interns are expected to demonstrate iii’s core values .
Intern candidates are evaluated according to iii's hiring criteria and the specific qualifications for each internship position. We try to match intern interests with program needs to find a good fit; interns may be asked to contribute to more than one program. Most Associates will receive a stipend, commensurate with academic experience, though some positions are unpaid.
